Since the Department of Hindi also runs courses in Post graduation, it is one of the rising departments of the college. Hundred percent of the colleagues from the department are involved in research activities. Mr.M.W.Wayadande is Head of the Dept., Assist. Prof. Ms. M. P. Nathe submitted her Ph.D. work to SPPU. After the Ph.D. work Assist.Prof. Ms. Dr. G. P. Parmar is trying to do Post Doctorate.The Department aims at starting a research center in near future.

The Context: TY.B.A. Syllabus has a paper called G-2 “Kavya Natak” The Practice: Students were showed the videos of some of the famous dramas in Hindi to introduce students to the elements of drama as well as importance of the stage properties. It helped them to understand how characters are developed through the story. Students were also introduced to the types of dramas through such plays. While selecting the plays mostly either the plays prescribed to them or at least the plays by the authors prescribe to them were taken into account. This also helped to inculcate the values of watching dramas rather than movies. Evidence of Success: Photographs and attendance are available in the department
Problems encountered and resources required: Since many of the students are from vernacular mediums it was difficult to get things done from them. There were problems with their pronunciation, intonation and body language. After the activity they improved it.
Department encourage to PG. Students NET, SET,,UPSC, MPSC Examination.
Activities like a paper presentation & project are conducted by Department
